They also have internet access to their book by going to: www.worldlanguages.glencoe.com to : Buen Viaje Level 1, 2005 using the "user name" BUEV105 with the password NepH4fre. This will open up all kinds of reinforcement and help for the chapter they are studying. If you have problems using this website call their toll free no. 1-800-437-3715.

Keys to Success in Language Acquisition |
Students will obtain what they choose to invest in this subject. If they never study notes, or draw visual images of words, and see the visuals, they will forget the language learned soon. They have been told to study their notes every night for success. It helps if they watch the news in Spanish on Spanish TV stations, or hear Spanish on the radio if these opportunities are available. For homework, all students are expected to study 10-15 minutes each night. Extra assignments will be written in their daily journals which include their name, the date, weather, topic and cognates studied, along with certain vocabulary and pictures drawn from the overhead or flashcards. Encourage them to practice these words with you or show you their daily journal. |
