This page will give information about the Middle School Band program. The Middle School Band program consists of Beginner Band in the 6th. Grade. We have two classes. The Woodwind Class consisting of flutes,clarinets,saxophones and percussion is in 1st period. The brass class consisting of trumpets,trombones and tubas is in 2nd period.
Each class is taught the fundaments of music for their instrument plus counting and tone production skills. We have two performances during the school year. One at Christmas and a performance at the end of the school year. We will also have a performance of the 6th. grade band at Sandy Lake in the Dallas area at the end of the year in May.
