As the summer siesta season ends, FIESTA FMS begins! We are certainly in celebration mode as we start the new school year in our newly renovated school. No need to "make a run for the border." The new and improved FMS has something on the "menu" everyone will like.

Although the FMS hacienda is new, my position as school counselor is not. As I begin my 7th year with this district, I hope to continue to "think outside the bun" in proudly serving our super students.

I am blessed with a super family, as well. My husband Slugger is entering his 12th football season as the head coach of the '07 state-finalist Bremond Tigers. Heath and Keri (my oldest son and daughter-in-law) are "timberwolves" and continue to teach @ Crosstimbers Academy in Weatherford. Hunter (my youngest son) is an "eagle" and in his 2nd year of coaching and teaching @ Lexington High School. His girlfriend Morgan is a "crusader" and attends the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor where Hunter was an All-American punter. Guess we ALL can't be LEONES DE FRANKLIN!
