Allright! FISD has scored something to cheer about by hiring a counselor for each campus---and I have been selected for the Middle School squad! Although school is a game-winning drive in my life, it is not my entire life. I am a football fanatic, married 32 years to the AD/HC @ Bremond High School, Slugger Hamrick (hey, don't hold that against me!).

My oldest son, Heath, "lives and breathes" teaching History @ Crosstimbers Academy in Weatherford, Tx. He has published 2 coaching books for Coaches Choice publications and recently directed a movie utilizing students & staff @ his school. A family affair @ Crosstimbers, his wife, Keri, teaches English & keeps busy correcting grammatical errors in his writings!

Having graduated from UMHB in May, my youngest son Hunter, the All-American punter, is now coaching & teaching @ Lexington High School, a district rival---yep, he'll be the coach "upstairs" trying to beat our Lions the last game of the season!
