Franklin High School obtained the top TEA ranking of Exemplary for the 2008-2009 school year, thanks to the hard work and determination of the students, faculty, staff, and parents. Congratulations!

In an effort to enhance communication between the school and parents, FISD has implemented an automated notification service called School Messenger. This service will alert parents, students and staff of absences, events, emergencies, and other important issues. For example, when your child is absent from school, you will receive a phone message notifying you of the absence. If a phone line is busy or goes unanswered, the system makes four more attempts every 15 to 20 minutes.

Parents are valued partners in Franklin ISD, where we believe that successful learning is best achieved through collaborative partnerships with parents, families, and positive adult and student role models. • Individual Progress Reports are sent home with students on Mondays.
• Tutorials are available to students before and after school. There is a late bus running for town destinations on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 4:20 p.m.
